USC Diving Continues Hot Streak at Zone E Diving Meet

Five Trojan divers punched their tickets to the 2023 NCAA Championships today, March 7, while competing at the Zone E Diving meet in Federal Way, Wash.
The top eight finishers on platform for women and top seven finishers on 1-meter for men earned invites to the NCAA Championships. Any Trojans who did not qualify today will have the opportunity to do so in the remaining events over the next two days.
For the second day in a row, Shangfei Wang and George Korovin qualified for NCAA's, this time on men's 3-meter springboard. Wang recorded 730.15 points to punch his ticket, while Korovin was shortly behind with 678.90 points. Both are now double-qualified, having already qualified on 1-meter yesterday.
In the women's platform competition, USC saw three Trojans qualify for NCAA's. Senior Nike Agunbiade led the way with 572.65 points, followed by Maddie Huitt (562.70 points) and Savannah Stocker (542.60). Agunbiade is now qualified on 3-meter and platform.
Action concludes tomorrow with the men's platform and women's 1-meter events. Prelims will begin at 11:30 a.m.
