USC Divers Set For Zone E Diving Championships

Ten Trojan divers will represent USC at the 2023 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships, Monday (March 6) through Wednesday (March 8) at the Weyerhaueser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Wash. Divers will compete to secure spots at the upcoming NCAA Championships which are March 15-18 for the women and March 22-25 for the men.

Carolina Sculti, Nike Agunbiade, Maddie Huitt, Savannah Stocker, Allison Ward and Grace Lee will be in action for the Women of Troy, while USC men's diver's George Korovin, Shangfei Wang, Laurent Gosselin-Paradis and Robert Gref.Â

Eight spots at the championships will be up for grabs in the women's 3-meter and platform competitions, while six women from Zone E will qualify for the 1-meter competition. Seven men from Zone E will advance in 1-meter diving while the top six in the 3-meter will move on and the top five in the platform competition will compete in Minneapolis.

A slew of Trojans will compete in all three events, while others are qualified on one or more events.Â

Most recently, USC diving's squad won the Pac-12 team diving title, scoring more points than any other program. In addition to sweeping the men's diving events, USC also won one title on the women's side and saw countless divers reach finals.Â
