Five USC Divers Punch Tickets To NCAA Championships On First Day of Zone E Diving Meet

USC's Agunbiade, Sculpt, Wang, Paradis and Korovin punch tickets to NCAAs.
Five USC divers punched their tickets to the 2023 NCAA Championships during the first day of action at the Zone E Diving Championships on Monday (March 6) in Federal Way, Wash.
The top eight finishers on 3-meter for women and top seven finishers on 1-meter for men earned invites to the NCAA Championships.
USC graduate transfer Lina Sculti finished second on 3-meter with 675.55 points, while Nike Agunbiade finished eighth with 606.50 points. Both Trojans will have the opportunity to qualify in additional events over the course of the next two days.
On men's 1-meter, Shangfei Wang led the way for USC, finishing second with 751.40 points. The 2023 Pac-12 3-meter champion George Korovin punched his ticket as he finished fourth with 731.60 points, just a few points ahead of teammate Laurent Gosselin-Paradis who finished fifth with 723.95 points.
Any Trojans who did not qualify today will have the opportunity to do so in the remaining events over the next two days.
Action continues tomorrow at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center with women's platform and men's 3-meter prelims set to begin at 11:30 a.m. All results will be available at DiveMeets.com.
