
No. 19 USC Lacrosse Hits High Points For the Season Against The Panthers

Eight Trojans grabbed multiple points as they bested High Point 14-6 at McAlister Field.
LOS ANGELES - No. 19 USC Lacrosse (3-1) produced a near-perfect first half as it cruised in the 14-6 victory over High Point (1-3).

- Sophomore Christina Gagnon led the charge for Women of Troy by posting her first career hat trick and adding an assist.
 - Graduate student Katie Ramsay seemed to do it all as she produced two goals, two groundballs, two caused turnovers and nine draw controls in the outing.
 - Senior Ella Heaney added to her team-high point total (12) as she produced two assists and a goal in the first half.
 - Sophomore Alexis Niblock continues to rack up groundballs as she produced a game-high four.
 - Junior goalie Kait Devir (3-1) picked up the win after allowing just two goals and grabbing three saves in 45 minutes of work.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Trojans dominated defensively, only allowing one goal in the first half, as the Panthers posted two shots on goal in the first half with nine total shots. On the other hand, USC posted 11 goals in the first 30 minutes to give them a running clock heading into the break.
 - USC scored a season-high for goals in a quarter, with eight goals in the second quarter.
 - The Trojans posted six goals within the first eight minutes of the second quarter, as Gagnon scored the last of that section at the 7:52 mark.
 - The Women of Troy had eight different student-athletes score in the first half.
 - USC was outscored in the second half 5-3 as the Trojans began rotating in their second unit.

- USC extends their streak to ten straight victories versus non-ranked opponents at McAlister Field.
