USC’s Alexis Niblock and Maddie Dora Named IWLCA All-Region

LOS ANGELES – USC lacrosse seniors' Maddie Dora (Milton, Ga.) and Alexis Niblock (Bayport, N.Y.) were named to the IWLCA All-Midwest/West Region Second Team on Friday, May 16.
Both players earned All-Big Ten second team honors, as well as being named USA Lacrosse Magazine All-Americans (H.M.) in the Trojans' inaugural year with the conference. Niblock was previously named an all-conference first team member last year with the Pac-12 and was an IWLCA All-West/Midwest Region second teamer in 2024.
Dora compiled 64 goals and 70 points for USC during her senior season; her 64 goals are the third most in a single season by a Trojan. The senior was a player to watch, earning several accolades such as being named to the Tewaaraton Watch List during the first round of additions, earning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors (Feb. 18) and being listed as an ILWomen Midseason All-American (H.M.). Dora earned all these honors as she compiled 14 hat tricks in the 17 games this year, including two six-goal games.
Niblock finalized her senior season with the Women of Troy, collecting 42 ground balls and causing 30 turnovers. The senior played as the focal point of the defense, and the team, as she was the lone captain this season. Niblock was previously on the USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American (H.M.) list and joined Dora on the ILWomen Midseason All-American (H.M.) list.
USC players have now received 38 all-region certificates with 17 first-team selections and 21 second teamers.
USC (10-7, 3-5 Big Ten) finalized its inaugural year in the Big Ten in sixth place. The Trojans missed a bid at the NCAA tournament after falling in the conference quarterfinals against No. 12 Michigan.
