No. 15 USC Women's Soccer Wins Sixth Straight with 4-0 Victory Over Oregon State

LOS ANGELES – The No. 15 USC women's soccer team won its sixth straight contest on Sunday, posting its fifth shutout in six games with a 4-0 win over Oregon State.

The Trojans got goals from four different players, moving to 9-2 overall and 5-0 in Pac-12 play. Oregon State falls to 3-6-4, 0-4-1.

USC scored twice in each half, with Simone Jackson and Kayla Colbert striking in the first period, and then Helena Sampaio and Izzy Kimberly scoring in the second half.

The Trojans outshot the visiting Beavers 24-7 in the game, putting eight balls on target to four for OSU. Hannah Dickinson made all four saves for USC as she played 83 minutes in goal during the shutout. Dickinson now owns a 0.64 goals against average and USC as a team has held opponents to 0.82 goals per game.

Over the last six games, the Trojans have outscored their opponents 17-1. The six-game winning streak is USC's longest since the Trojans won a program-record 11 in a row back in 2021.

GOALS
11' – USC: Simone Jackson (assisted by Kayla Colbert, Simi Awujo) – Awujo slid a pass forward to Colbert, and Colbert continued it forward with a one-touch pass ahead of a charging Simone Jackson, who ran onto it in the area and scored inside the left post.

22' – USC: Kayla Colbert (assisted by Angeles Escobar) – Escobar hit a screamer of a free kick off the crossbar from about 30 yards out, and Colbert was right there to knock home the rebound.

69' – USC: Helena Sampaio (assisted by Maribel Flores) – Flores slide a pass to Sampaio near the top of the area and Sampaio curved a shot inside the left post from about 28 yards out.

76' – USC: Izzy Kimberly (assisted by Maribel Flores) – Flores carried the ball to the top of the penalty area and then found Kimberly charging into the box who fired home a one-touch shot inside the left post.
