No. 8 USC Women's Swimming and Diving Downs ASU 180-103

Troy falls 115-185 against the No. 5 Sun Devils.
The No. 8 USC women's swimming team, led by Trojan Anicka Delgado's three individual wins, downed the ASU Sun Devils 180-103, while Troy fell 115-185 to No. 5 ASU on Friday, Nov. 4 at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
With the win, the women's squad improved to 2-0, while the Sun Devils fall to 0-5. On the men's side, USC is now 0-1 while ASU improves to 4-1.
The Women of Troy swept the relays on Friday, opening the meet with a 200y medley relay win as Trojans Aria Bernal, Kaitlyn Dobler, Delgado and Elise Garcia combined for a 1:39.64. USC would later close out the afternoon with a victory in the 400y free relay as Hanna Henderson, Justina Kozan, Garcia and Dobler clocked a 3:21.49.
Delgado claimed three individual events for the Women of Troy on Friday, capturing the 50y free (22.89), 100y free (50.01) and 100y fly (54.05).
An additional three Trojans each won two events apiece as Marlene Kahler (1000y free - 9:57.29, 500y free - 4:52.33), Isabelle Odgers (200y breast - 2:11.05, 200y IM - 1:59.01) and Hanna Henderson (100y back - 54.39, 200y back – 54.39) all recorded a pair of wins.
Other individual wins for the Women of Troy came from Kozan (200y free - 1:48.53) and Dobler (100y breast - 1:00.48).
On the men's side, USC won a trio of individual events on Friday as Artem Selin (50y free - 19.87), Paul Retterer (500y free - 4:27.08) and Vaggelis Makyrgiannis (200y back – 1:46.96) each posted wins.
USC diving impressed during their season debut as the Trojans swept all four events against the Sun Devils. Stanford grad transfer Carolina Sculti won on both 3-meter (323.33) and 1-meter (282.45), while Shangfei Wang (371.48) and Laurent Paradis (339.23) posted wins on 1-meter and 3-meter, respectively.
Tomorrow, action continues for the Trojans at 11 a.m. PT at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center as USC welcomes Arizona for another Pac-12 dual. The meet will be live streamed at Pac-12.com/live/USC, and live results will be available on the Meet Mobile App.
