Minna Abraham Earns First Team All-American Honors In 200Y Freestyle

ATLANTA - The first full day of the NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships kicked off on Thursday morning in Atlanta, Georgia. Minna Abraham's swim in the 200y freestyle final highlighted the evening as the junior posted a time of 1:41.66 and finished fourth on the way to claiming First Team All-American accolades.Â
The Trojans had five swimmers and two divers compete in the morning preliminary session.Â
Nicole Maier and Justina Kozan both earned Second Team All-American honors. Nicole Maier finished 10th in the 200y freestyle with a time of 1:42.87. Kozan took 14th in 400y IM after posting a mark of 4:05.36.Â
Claire Tuggle rounded out the 200y freestyle group with a time of 1:44.58. Bella Brito swam the 100y breaststroke in a time of 59.87 to finish 28th in her first NCAA appearance.
Kate Miller and Jenna Jagielski both began competition on the 1-meter springboard, their first of two events in the meet. Miller recorded a score of 262.20 to finish 19th while Jagielski took 45th with a score of 231.55.
WEDNESDAY RECAP
The 800y freestyle relay squad of Nicole Maier, Justina Kozan, Claire Tuggle and Minna Abraham earned First Team All-American status and set a new program record to kick off the 2026 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships. The group took seventh thanks to the record-setting time of 6:51.17.
Alisee Pisane competed in the 1650y freestyle and placed 38th with a time of 16:37.03.
