Trojan 400Y Medley Relay Squad Earns Second Team All-American Honors At NCAA Championships

ATLANTA - The competition continued for the USC women's swimming and diving team on the penultimate day of the NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.

The 400y medley relay squad earned Second Team All-American honors with a time of 3:31.00 from Minna Abraham, Bella Brito, Justina Kozan and Nicole Maier. This marks the second relay squad of the meet to earn All-American accolades.

Abraham began the day with a 17th place finish in the 100y backstroke with a time of 51.37 followed by a 48th place finish from Lindsay Barnes with a time of 53.17.

Claire Tuggle took 18th in the 500y freestyle after posting a time of 4:39.76. Justina Kozan finished 26th, touching the wall at the 4:41.44 mark.

In the final individual event of the day for the Trojans, Maier and Brito took 31st and 44th respectively. Maier came in at 22.10 and Brito at 22.42.

The final day of the NCAA Championships will kick off with prelims at 10:00 a.m. ET followed by finals at 6:00 p.m. ET.
