No. 8 USC Women’s Swimming Set for Saturday Showdown at Utah

The No. 8 USC women's swimming team is set for their first dual meet of the season as they travel to Pac-12 rival Utah for a Saturday (Oct. 29), 10 a.m. PST matchup at the Ute Natatorium.
This Saturday's showdown will not be streamed and no live results will be available.

Saturday 10/29 – 10 AM: 200 medley relay, 1000 free, 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 200 breaststroke, 500 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 400 individual medley, 200 freestyle relay
SO FAR THIS SEASON:
The USC women's squad opened the 2022-23 season with a victory on the road, capturing the SMU Classic Invitational women's team title. In Dallas, Dobler captured the 100y breaststroke in a pool and meet record time of 59.09. Additionally, six Trojans picked up NCAA Provisional times – Isabelle Odgers (400y IM – 4:11.01 / 100y breast – 1:00.48 / 200y breast – 2:10.52 / 200y IM – 1:58.64), Anicka Delgado (100y fly – 53.06 / 100y free – 49.35) , Hanna Henderson (100y back – 53.54, 200y back – 1:55.90) , Dobler (100y breast – 59.09 / 200y breast – 2:10.07) , Marlene Kahler (500y free – 4:46.14) and Justina Kozan (200y fly – 1:59.14). In the diving well, Trojan Lina Sculti earned NCAA qualifying scores on both 3-meter (302.50) and 1-meter (293.95).
The Women of Troy returned home to host the USC Invitational where USC defeated Auburn, UCSD and Hawaii. Trojan Dobler blasted an NCAA A-cut in the 100y breast with a 57.83, the fastest time in the country in the event this season while also extending her unbeaten streak in the event since January of 2022.
