No. 10 USC Women’s Swim Hosts Bay Rivals No. 7 Cal, No. 4 Stanford

USC looks to maintain unblemished dual-meet record
USC's No. 10 women's swimming and diving team is set to host Bay Area rivals No. 7 California on Friday (Jan. 28) at 2 p.m. and No. 4 Stanford at 11 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 29) at the Uytensu Aquatics Center.
USC is 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in Pac-12 meets. The Bears are 3-1, 3-0 while the Cardinal is 4-0, 3-0. All three teams will be looking to maintain an unblemished Pac-12 dual-meet record.
So far this season, the Women of Troy defeated Washington State (W, 161-93), Arizona (W, 191-109), Arizona State (W, 208-90) and UC San Diego (W, 210-52).

SCOUTING CALIFORNIA
The No. 7 Bears have 13 swimmers ranked among the national top 25 in a combined 23 different events. Isabel Ivey leads the way with top-25 swims in six events - 50, 100 and 200 free; 100 back; 100 fly; and 200 IM - while Ayla Spitz holds spots in the 200 and 500 free and 200 back. Among newcomers, those on the lists are: Mia Motekaitis (500 free), Lizzy Cook (200 fly), Mia Kragh (200 fly) and Leah Polonsky (200 IM, 400 IM). In addition, Isabelle Staddenhas attained an NCAA A qualifying time in the 200 back, where she ranks third in the country (1:50.02).
SCOUTING STANFORD
The No. 4 Cardinal enter the weekend with 11 NCAA 'A' standards this season. All six of their relay teams have qualified for the national championships, with the 400 free and 800 free relay teams ranking second in the nation. Individually, the Cardinal own 19 marks that rank in the top 20 nationally in their respective events. Regan Smith leads the country in the 100 back (49.97) and 200 back (1:48.91) while Torri Huske leads the country in the 100 free (47.04).
SENIOR DAY
USC will honor 6 seniors before the start of the Stanford meet (10:45 a.m.), including co-captains Makenna Turner and Isabelle Odgers, Calypso Sheridan, Courtney Tseng, Laticia Transom and diving captain Alyson Tam.
RELAY POWER
The Women of Troy relay quartet of Dobler, Delgado, Transom and Sheridan remain unbeaten this season as a squad, having won every relay in which they've competed together this season (eight wins).
In addition to being undefeated, the foursome has already posted NCAA A cuts in the 200 free relay (1:28.00), 200 medley relay (1:35.92) and 400 medley relay (3:29.74). All three times are among the top-10 in the country so far this season. Additionally, the Women of Troy have B cuts and NCAA top-25 times in both the 400y free relay (3:16.03, 16th) and 800y free relay (7:07.87, 13th).
