USC-Stanford Lacrosse Game Postponed

The Women of Troy and the Cardinal were scheduled to meet at Stanford Stadium this afternoon
STANFORD, Calif. – The USC-Stanford lacrosse game scheduled for Sunday (March 14) at 2 p.m. PT has been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test and contact tracing protocols within the Trojans' program, head coach Lindsey Munday announced on Sunday, March 14.

The case was detected as part of routine testing and surveillance conducted by Pac-12 teams this spring. Close contacts have been identified and notified. The case is in isolation and is recovering well.

USC, Stanford, and the Pac-12 will attempt to find a mutually agreeable date to reschedule the game.

The 20th-ranked Trojans (3-2, 1-0 Pac-12) are in the Bay Area for the opening of their conference schedule and defeated California on Friday evening in Berkeley. USC is next scheduled to play at home on Friday (March 19) against Arizona State at McAlister Field.

All home USC women's lacrosse competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety recommendations and guidelines, available at Pac-12.com/health.
