USC Finishes Fourth in 800y Free Relay to Open Pac-12 Men's Swimming Championships

Trojans sit in fourth place heading into day two.
USC's 800y free relay finished fourth to open the 2021 Pac-12 Men's Swimming Championships in Houston, Texas, on Sunday (Feb. 28).
Alexei Sancov, Dominic Margarino, Max Saunders and Harry Homans finished fourth in the 800y free relay to get things started for USC, in an NCAA A cut time of 6:17.04.
In the 400y medley relay, USC also finished fourth with Jack Kirby, Mario Koenigsperger, Sancov and Nikola Miljenic posting a 3:07.34, to earn an NCAA B cut for Troy.
USC, including the diving events from the past few days and two relays tonight, sits in fourth place with 124 points. Utah sits in first with 189 points, followed by Stanford (173) and Arizona (152). In fifth place is Cal with 102 points.
