Seven Trojans Earn Pac-12 All-Academic Honors

LOS ANGELES--The Pac-12 Conference named the All-Academic Rowing teams today (June 4), and seven Trojans were recognized for their hard work in the classroom.
Seniors Krete Koovit and Marliis Reinkort and junior Katarzyna Pilch were named to the First Team, while senior Brooke Downes, junior Astrid Steensberg and sophomore Ludovica Braglia were named to the Second Team. Senior Radka Novotnikova was recognized as an Honorable Mention.
Pilch, Koovit and Reinkort are each making their second-career First Team appearance.
To be eligible for selection to the Pac-12 all-academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and participate in at least half of their team's scheduled regular-season events.
Since 1992, USC women's rowing owns 60 first-team Pac-12 all-academic certificates with 30 second-team selections.
