No. 13 USC Men's Volleyball Visits Concordia, Then Hosts No. 4 Pepperdine

THE FACTS
The No. 13-ranked USC men's volleyball team (7-7 overall, 1-3 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation)-- aiming to snap a 3-match losing skid--travels to Concordia (5-12, 1-4) on Thursday (Feb. 28) looking for its first win on an opponent's home court in 2019, then the Trojans host No. 4 Pepperdine (11-2, 4-0) on Saturday (March 2) in the Galen Center. Both MPSF matches start at 7 p.m. PT

RANKINGS
USC is ranked 13th in the current AVCA Division I-II Top 15 poll. Concordia is not ranked, while Pepperdine is fourth.
OPPONENTS
USC holds a 6-2 series record over Concordia, including a 3-0 sweep over the Eagles in early January at the Rainbow Warrior Classic. USC trails in its series with Pepperdine, 66-42, but Troy beat the Waves in the most recent meeting, 3-1 last year in a road MPSF Tournament quarterfinal match.
50TH SEASON
The 2019 season is the 50th of USC men's volleyball. Since 1970, the Trojan program has been among the finest in college: winning 4 NCAA championships, playing in 14 NCAA Final Fours and producing 20 Olympians, 34 All-American first teamers and 7 College Players of the Year.
