Women of Troy Travel South for San Diego Fall Classic

LOS ANGELES--The USC women's rowing team travels to San Diego to compete in the San Diego Fall Classic on the waters of Mission Bay on Sunday (Nov. 10).
"We are excited for the opportunity to race at a great regatta like the San Diego Fall Classic," said head coach Josh Adam. "It's good to rehearse the routines of loading the trailer, rigging and performing. This regatta is a Cardinal and Gold competition for us. The intra-squad teams put the lineups together to include our new members. It's really a chance for us to be focused on our current talent as well as our future development at the same time."
Two Trojans will hit the water at 8:30 a.m. to compete in the Open 1x against rowers from UC Santa Barbara and San Diego.
At 10:15 a.m., the Trojans will enter six boats in the Women's Open 2- and will race against UC Santa Barbara and San Diego.
Finally, at 10:45 a.m., the Women of Troy will enter two boats in the Women's Open 4+ as they compete against Arizona State, Long Beach State, UC Santa Barbara and San Diego.
