How are you liking USC so far?
I love it. It's a whole new experience being on the West Coast; since I've lived on the East Coast my whole life. It's cool to have a change.
What inspired your decision to come here?
Well obviously, I love lacrosse, so I wanted to play lacrosse in college. When I came out here, I instantly knew that I wanted to pursue my athletic career at USC and go to school here too.
Do you have a favorite class at USC?
Right now, my favorite class is Sports Business and Media. I actually have a quiz today… they're hard, but it's a great class. I'm trying to switch from International Relations Global Business into Annenberg (School for Communication) right now, so I'm taking a bunch of comm courses, and I love them.
Is that a career field that you're planning on going into in the future?
I have no idea yet. Probably at one point I'll know, but right now I'm just trying to expand and see what I like most.
What would you say is the biggest difference between playing lacrosse in high school and playing in college?
The time that you put into it and the speed of play.
Have you gotten the chance to explore LA since coming here?
Yeah, me and my friends have done all of the touristy stuff. I guess we've explored a little, but there's definitely a lot more to see. I like Manhattan Beach a lot, and I also like Grand Central Market a lot, food-wise.
Where is your favorite place to eat at Grand Central Market?
I just love all of it. Last time, we went to a noodle place there that was really good.
Do you have any hobbies outside of lacrosse?
I love traveling, but I don't have much time to do that; and I love going to the beach. I've got to do that more while I'm here too.
What are you most looking forward to this season?
Traveling with the team. I'm most looking forward to going to Boston University because my brother goes there, so I'll see him.
What is your proudest achievement as an athlete from high school?
Senior year, we made it to the [Tournament of Champions] final. We ended up losing, but it was a good last achievement for me as a senior, so that was really fun to be a part of.
