TUESDAY CURTAIN CALL: Of note for Tuesday's game against UC Irvine will be Anteaters' coach Mike Gillespie coaching his final game at Dedeaux Field. Gillespie is retiring after his 31st season as a collegiate head coach this year.

Hurt had tossed 117 pitches prior to exiting. It was the first no-hitter of any kind since USC tossed a five-inning no-no in 2000 against Mississippi State. The last nine-inning no-hitter was a combined no-no against Cal State Los Angeles in 1986. It was the first time in program history more than two USC pitchers have combined in a no-hitter and was just the third time the Trojans have no-hit a Pac-12/10 opponent.
