Witt, Souza Earn NCAA Berths On Platform At NCAA Championships

Junior Madi Witt and sophomore Carly Souza finished seventh and eighth, respectively, on women's platform to earn a berth into the NCAA Championships while senior Dashiell Enos led USC on the men's board on the final day of the NCAA Zone E Championships in Flagstaff, Ariz., on Wednesday (March 7).
Witt earned her third straight trip to the NCAAs with a seventh on platform with 498.55 points while Souza will make her NCAA debut next week thanks to an eighth-place finish with 488.85. Sophomore Naomi Gowlett just missed a trip, finishing 10th (470.90), while junior Tabby Krebs was 15th (430.20).
Enos, who already qualified on 1-meter and 3-meter, earned a berth on platform with his third-place finish (729.75). Enos earned his only All-American honor of his career on the board at last year's NCAA meet. Sophomore Henry Fusaro, headed to the NCAAs this year on both springboards, finished 14th on platform (538.35).
