USC Posts Pair Of Relay A Cuts To Kick Off Pac-12 Championships

200 medley relay reaches podium in third.
The USC men's swimming team posted a pair of season-best NCAA A cuts in the 200y medley and 800y free relays to kick off the 2018 Pac-12 Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday night (Feb. 28) in Federal Way, Wash.
The Trojan quartet of freshman Robert Glinta, junior Carsten Vissering and seniors Santo Condorelli and Ralf Tribuntsov finished third in the 200y medley relay in 1:24.43, 1.01 better than USC's season best and 0.53 off the school record.
USC's 800y free relay turned in a 6:18.97, lowering the season best by 1.90 seconds, for fourth with freshman Jake Sannem, seniors Jon Knox and Dylan Carter and freshman Justin Nguyen. Sannem led off with a season-best 1:34.88.
The meet continues Thursday through Saturday with prelims at 11 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. each day.
