Trojans To Compete At Pac-12 XC Championships On Friday

The USC women's cross country team will be competing at the 6K Pac-12 Cross Country Championships to be held on the Stanford Golf Course in Palo Alto, Calif. on Oct. 26 at 11:10 a.m. The meet will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Jim Watson, Dwight Stones and Lewis Johnson calling the action. Four of the top 16 ranked teams in the country will be competing in the conference meet, including No. 1 Colorado.
USC is scheduled to bring seven student-athletes to the Pac-12 Championships: senior Amber Gore, juniors Chloe Berry and Kamryn Weber, sophomore Jennifer Daly and freshmen Alyssa Brewer, Jemima Russell and Brynn Sauer. Four of the seven Trojans will be competing in their first conference championship meet.
Gore, USC's top finisher in its last nine races dating back to the 2017 season, led USC at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships with a PR of 21:00.5 to finish 79th. This will be Gore's fourth Pac-12 Championships appearance. Berry is in her third Pac-12 Championships meet and also set her 6K PR of 21:55.8 at the 2017 meet. Daly is the only other Trojans to compete at the Pac-12 Championships previously and she had a PR of 23:16.1 last year. Russell will be running in her first cross country meet as a Trojan.
