Trojan Baseball Set for Annual Cardinal vs. Gold Series

LOS ANGELES - The 2015-16 baseball squad will be on display for their annual Cardinal vs. Gold intersquad series starting on Friday, Oct. 30 at Dedeaux Field.
The five-game series goes Friday Oct. 30 - Sunday Nov. 1 and then resumes on Thursday, Nov. 5-Friday, Nov. 6. Each game will be seven innings long.
The series signifies the end of fall ball, with the alumni game set for 12 p.m. PT on Sunday, Nov. 8 and the annual banquet to follow.
Game one of the series starts at 4 p.m. PT on Friday, Oct. 30 and will pit Gold starter RHP Brent Wheatley against Cardinal starter RHP Marrick Crouse.
Game two on Saturday, Oct. 31 begins at 1 p.m. with RHP Kyle Davis of the Cardinal team vs. Gold starter RHP Mitch Hart.
Game three will take place on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. with LHP Bernardo Flores of the Cardinal squad going against RHP Mason Perryman of the Gold team.
Game four of the series will take place at 4 p.m. PT on Thursday, Nov. 5. It will be a rematch of game one's starters, Wheatley (Gold) vs. Crouse (Cardinal).
The series will culminate with game five on Friday, Nov. 6 at 4 p.m., with a rematch of game two, Davis of the Cardinal squad vs. Hart of the Gold team.
