2019/REDSHIRT JUNIOR: Appeared in 54 games and made 53 starts for the Trojans in 2019 … Posted a line of .285/.378/.466, with 35 RBI and 38 runs scored … Notched 11 doubles, three triples, and six home runs on the year … Stole four bases in seven attempts … Caught 13 baserunners stealing … Had a career-high seven total bases at Utah on 4/13 … Also set a career high with four runs batted in at Cal Poly on 4/28 … Tied for third on the team with 16 multi-hit games on the season … Tied for first on the team with nine multi-RBI games … Led the team with an 11-game hitting streak from 4/5 through 4/20 … Also came in second on the team with a 19-game reached base streak from 4/5 through 5/11.
2018/REDSHIRT: Sat out the 2018 season with an injury.
2017/SOPHOMORE: Appeared in 12 games, making 11 starts on the mound for the Trojans in 2017 … Stubbs ended the season with a 2-5 record and 5.04 ERA in 64.1 innings pitched, striking out 35 batters … Stubbs struck out a season high five batters against both UCLA on 5/13 and Oregon on 5/20.
2016/FRESHMAN: Appeared in 18 total games, 14 of those being on the mound...Started seven games, all on Tuesdays...Tallied 42.0 innings on the mound, going 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA...Had his longest outing of the year on March 21 vs. Cal State Fullerton, going 6.1 innings, allowing just two runs on four hits with two strikeouts, getting the no-decision as the Trojans won 3-2...In his collegiate debut on Feb. 23 at LMU, Stubbs went six complete innings, allowing just one run on four hits with one strikeout, earning his first win as the Trojans won 4-3...Also had starts vs. LMU on March 29, vs. Pepperdine on April 5, at Pepperdine on April 12 and at UC Irvine on April 26...Earned his second win of the year with three innings of one-hit, shutout baseball in relief on May 24 at Cal State Fullerton...Also appeared in four games behind the plate, starting on March 5 vs. Mississippi State...Did not record a hit in eight at-bats, but scored a run on March 18 vs. California and drew a walk on May 17 at UC Irvine.
