MATCH NOTES
- USC improved to 50-11 in all-time matches against Oregon and snapped a short two-match skid to the Ducks with today's 3-0 victory. The Trojans also improved to 24-5 in matches in Eugene, Ore.
- The Women of Troy improved to 92-8 all-time when ranked No. 1 in the AVCA poll.
- USC's 22-0 mark is just two wins shy of matching the 1976 Women of Troy who went 24-0 to start their season. That team finished 34-1 en route to winning the AIAW championship. • Senior OH Samantha Bricio logged 15 kills to give her 1,812 in her career. On her third kill of the match, she overtook Jennifer Kessy (1,799; 1995-98) for second place at USC in career kills. Bricio is now just 106 kills from matching Alex Jupiter (1,918; 2008-11), the program's record holder.
- Junior libero Taylor Whittingham produced her 10th straight match in double-digit digs. It is her 20th such match of the season.
- Three Trojans scored in double digits: Bricio (20.0), freshman outside hitter Alyse Ford (15.5), and senior middle blocker Alicia Ogoms (10.5).
