Trojan Men's Volleyballers Conclude World University Games Competition

USC men's volleyballers of present and past competed at the recently-concluded 2011 World Univesity Games in Shenzhen, China.

Senior Tony Ciarelli and junior Jeff Carlson finished the WUG beach volleyball competition tied for fifth place. Trojan junior Maddison McKibbin, who paired with UC Irvine's Connor Hughes, finished the tournament tied for seventh.

In the WUG's indoor men's volleyball competition, just-graduated Trojans Murphy Troy, Riley McKibbin and Tri Bourne were on the U.S. team that finished 13th. The U.S. squad ended the tourney with victories over Sweden and Norway.
