Trainer Invited To Play PGA's Reno Tahoe Open

USC sophomore Martin Trainer, fresh off winning the 2011 Pac-10 Championship individual title on Sunday (May 1) and helping the Trojans claim the team title as well, has received an amateur exemption into the upcoming Reno Tahoe Open on the PGA Tour.

Trainer, a Northern California native from Palo Alto, Calif., will get to play in front of friends and family at the nearby PGA event, scheduled August 1-7.

Trainer won his first title as a Trojan after a seven-hole playoff with Oregon State's Alex Moore. He and the Trojans then defeated Oregon in a playoff for the team title.
