USC junior forward Nikola Vucevic picked up another honor today (March 9) as he was named to the NABC Division I All-Disctrict 20 First Team which recognizes the nation's best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes. The 245 student-athletes from the 24 districts are eligble for the State Farm Coaches' Division I All-America team to be announced on April 2 in Houston, Texas.
Vucevic averaged 17.7 points and 10.3 rebounds in the regular season to earn All-Pac-10 honors. He leads the conference in rebounds and is the third-leading scorer in the Pac-10.
Vucevic is on pace to become the first Trojan to average a double-double since Jaha Wilson accomplished the feat in the 1994-95 season. Vucevic's 548 points this season rank 13th all-time in a single season by a Trojan and he is just 30 points out of at top 10 single-season scoring total by a Trojan.
