Smith Ties For Fourth At Anteater Invitational

USC sophomore Sam Smith tied for fourth and sophomore Stewart Hagestad tied for 12th at the Anteater Invitational that concluded Tuesday (Feb. 8) in Irvine, Calif.
Smith finished at 2-under 214 (71-73-70), three back of first place, for his best finish of the season. He was one of only seven players under par.
Hagestad was 5-over 221 (75-71-75) to tie for 12th (also his best finish this year) while senior Bo DeHuff tied for 28th at 10-over 226 (79-72-75).
USC did not compete as a team in this event, just individually.
