Nicole Davis Earns Silver Medal With Team USA

LOS ANGELES -- Former USC libero Nicole Davis (Stockton, Calif.) earned a silver medal in the 2008 Olympics as part of the U.S. Olympic women's volleyball team. The U.S. lost Saturday to Brazil, 18-25, 25-18, 13-25, 21-25, in the gold-medal match.
The U.S. squad made its first Olympic final appearance since 1984 with the team's last medal coming in 1992 with the bronze. Team USA went 4-1 in pool play before defeating No. 2-ranked Italy and recorded a three-set sweep of Cuba.
