Junior Joshua Wooding's 66 led five Trojans who finished at or under par as USC recorded the low round of the day, finishing in third place at the Taylor Made Intercollegiate at Waikoloa (Hawaii) C.C. on Friday (Feb. 10).
The Trojans fired off a combined 275 in the final 18 holes, best of the day, to finish with a three-day total of 840, 15 back of winner Georgia Tech (825) and one back of second-place Oklahoma State (839) in the 21-team field.
Wooding's 66 was the second-best round of the day, leaving him at 212 for the invitational, tied for 17th overall. Seniors Bradley Shaw and Tyler Ley finished tied for eighth overall (209), carding a final-round 71 and 67, respectively.
Senior Taylor Wood and junior Jordan Nasser both posted 71s on Friday. Wood finished tied for 23rd (213) while Nasser finished tied for 39th (218).
