Men's Golf Defeats Pepperdine In Dual Match

Westlake Village, Calif. - The USC men's golf team defeated Pepperdine by seven strokes on Wednesday in a dual match held at the par 71 North Ranch Country Club.
Six golfers from each squad competed, with the best four scores from each team comprising the totals. The Trojans defeated the Waves 285 (+1) to 292 (+8).
Sophomore Taylor Wood led Troy with a two-under 69, while Pepperdine was led by Brian O'Flaherty, who also shot 69.
Trojan scorers included junior Nico Bollini shot 71, freshman Joshua Wooding shot 72 and senior Scott Oxandabour shot 73. Junior Ben Hayes (77) and sophomore Tyler Ley (78) were non-scoring Trojans.
The dual was a preview of the 27th annual Cleveland Golf Classic tournament to be held at North Ranch on March 1-2.
