
Julien Kapek Wins French Triple Jump Championship

USC outgoing senior Julien Kapek jumped a wind-aided 56-6 3/4 (17.24m) to win the French National triple jump championship this past weekend.
Kapek earned a spot on France's national team that will compete at the World Track and Field Championships in Paris in late August.
This past June, Kapek became the first Trojan since Luther Hayes in 1961 to win the triple jump at the NCAA Championships.
