Baseball To Host NCAA First-Round Regional

LOS ANGELES -- USC has been awarded one of the 16 host sites for the NCAA First-Round Baseball Regional, the NCAA announced today. The Trojans (35-16), who were ranked No. 2 in the nation in today's Baseball America poll, will host the four-team regional from Friday (May 25) through Sunday (May 27). Times and ticket prices will be announced at a later date and will be posted on www.usctrojans.com.
The 64 teams will be announced next Monday (May 21).
