USC Women's Volleyball Camp For Girls
April 12, 2000 | Women's Volleyball
April 12, 2000
This skills and drill based camp provides those players who are serious about their game the opportunity to train and practice the fundamental skills necessary to improve on-court performance. The low player-coach ratio (8:1) will allow for individual coaching attention. The camp is structured for students in grades 7-12. Players will be grouped by age and ability throughout the daily sessions.
The USC women's volleyball program has featured some of the top women's volleyball players in the nation since it began awarding scholarships in 1976. Among the Women of Troy, there have been 19 players who have earned 37 All-America honors. USC won its first national championship in its initial campaign. Since then, the Women of Troy have consistently maintained one of the university's most dominant programs with almost annual trips to the NCAA Tournament. With 13 Olympians playing in seven different Olympiads, USC has been a pipeline to the US National Team, as well as to the professional ranks.
