Eugene, Ore. -- Fourth-ranked USC volleyball defeated Oregon 15-8, 15-9, 15-4 in front of 671 fans at McArthur Court Friday. The Women of Troy improve to 19-1 overall and 12-1 in the Pac-10, while the Ducks fall to 9-11 overall and 1-10 in conference play.

In game one, Oregon fell behind 3-0 on a kill by OH Janae Henry and two by MB Katie Olsovsky. A USC error brought the Ducks within one, 3-2, but the Trojans embarked on a 7-1 run to widen the gap, 9-3. Despite an Oregon rally late in the game, a kill by USC's Jennifer Pahl capped the 15-8 win.
Oregon stole the momentum early in the second game, jumping to a 4-1 lead on two kills and an ace. Following a USC timeout, the Trojans used a 4-1 run to tie the game at five. After each team added a point (6-6), USC never looked back again and used a 9-3 run en route to the victory, 15-9.
USC took a 10-1 lead to start the final game and the Ducks were unable to make a run until late, eventually falling 15-4.
The Women of Troy were led by Pahl who finished with a match-high 12 kills and .529 attack percentage. Defensively, Henry recorded 15 digs and freshman April Ross made six stops at the net.
The Ducks were led by Halie Mazza and Monique Tobbagi who each posted 10 kills.
