USC Women's Volleyball Defeats Nevada

Antoinette Polk had a match-high 23 kills and added 22 digs as the No. 20 USC women's volleyball team outlasted Nevada, 15-10, 10-15, 15-10, 10-15, 18-16, to win the second match of Aston's Imua Wahine Volleyball Challenge at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Thursday (Sept. 9).
The Trojans improved to 2-1 while the Wolfpack fell to 3-1.
For USC, Janae Henry notched 16 kills and a match-high 24 digs while teammate Jennifer Pahl tallied 14 kills and 19 digs. The Trojans hit .381 in game five while committing zero errors.
For Nevada, Kellie La Bossiere had a team-high 22 kills while Suzanne Stonebarger had 16 kills and 21 digs.
The Women of Troy resume play today (Sept. 10) at 7 p.m. HST against No. 3 Hawaii. The Rainbow Wahine are 5-0 after sweeping Tennessee yesterday in the tournament's first match. After facing Hawaii today, USC will play Tennessee at 2 p.m. HST on Saturday (Sept. 11) to close out the tournament.
