Women's Volleyball Beats Pepperdine

MALIBU, Calif. - Senior outside hitter Jennifer Kessy's match-high 14 kills and 18 digs led the No. 8 USC women's volleyball team to a 15-2, 15-12, 16-14 victory at Pepperdine on Wednesday.
USC improved to 8-3, while Pepperdine fell to 5-5.
Senior middle blocker Jasmina Marinkovic also reached double-figure kills with 11, and sophomore outside hitter Antoinette Polk had 12 digs.
USC hit just .159 as a team, but Pepperdine hit only .043 as USC had seven blocks and forced 30 Wave hitting errors.
The Women of Troy won game three despite a hitting percentage of .000 (while the Waves hit .073).
USC hosts UCLA on Friday at 6 p.m. at the North Gym.
