Women's Volleyball Beats Indiana

MADISON, Wis. - The No. 3 USC women's volleyball team, behind the tremendous play of senior middle blocker Jasmina Marinkovic, pounded Indiana, 15-11, 16-14, 11-15, 15-2, in the first game of the Wisconsin Tournament on Friday.
USC (4-1) now plays the host Badgers on Saturday night.
Marinkovic had a match-high 26 kills with only four errors in 43 attempts for a .512 hitting percentage. She also had five blocks.
Senior outside hitter Jennifer Kessy had 25 kills and eight digs, senior setter Janice Mounts had 58 assists and 14 digs and sophomore outside hitter Antoinette Polk had seven kills and 14 digs.
USC hit .278 to Indiana's .212, and had an 11-6 blocking advantage.
In the fourth game, USC got the rout by outhitting the Hoosiers .400 to a minus-.129.
