Terri Del Conte
- Title:
- Interim Assistant Coach
Terri Del Conte joins the USC Beach Volleyball staff as an interim assistant coach starting in the fall of 2025.
The native of Long Beach, California, returned home after serving as the head coach of Florida International for two years. During her time in Miami, the Panthers were ranked 13th in the NCAA. Along with that, Del Conte produced two First Team All-Americans, five All-Conference players, and the Conference USA’s Freshman of the Year. If that wasn’t enough, Del Conte’s team also earned the highest team cumulative GPA in program history.
Before FIU, Del Conte coached at UAB, leading the Blazers to the most wins in program history in back-to-back seasons. Her best season came in 2023 when the team secured 18 wins and made it to the semifinals of the Conference USA Tournament for the first time in program history. Along the way, she also coached a Conference USA Freshman of the Year and four First Time All-Conference honorees.
Prior to Birmingham, Del Conte was the inaugural coach for the Missouri State Beach Volleyball team, guiding them through their first three seasons. In the program’s second year of existence, she led the Bears to a winning record of 13-11.
As a player, Del Conte played indoor volleyball at Missouri State, where she was a two-time Missouri Valley All-Conference selection as she led her team to two NCAA Tournament appearances. A team captain and Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete honorable mention pick in 2008, her career high of 36 digs on Nov. 8, 2008, remains the seventh-best single-match total in school history, while her 973 career digs are the second-most for any Missouri State player in their first two seasons.
Del Conte graduated from Missouri State in 2009. She also serves as a USA Beach NTDP coach.
