THIS SEASON: 2007 senior Connor Hall, a two-time Pac-10 All-Academic first team selection, is an improving butterfly swimmer who can swim the medley. He looks to be a dual-meet contributor and provide scoring at the Pac-10 Championships.
2006: Hall was injured for most of his 2006 junior season. He saw limited dual-meet action and competed only in exhibition heats of the Pac-10 Championships ... He did compete in one event at the 2006 U.S. Spring Nationals, taking 22nd in the 200m fly (2:07.85), and swam the same race at the U.S. Summer Nationals ... For the second consecutive season, he was tabbed a Pac-10 All-Academic first team selection with a 3.57 in biomedical engineering.
2005: Hall provided depth for the Trojans as a sophomore in 2005, posting exhibition swims at the Pac-10 Championships in addition to seeing dual-meet action throughout he season ... At the 2005 U.S. Summer Nationals, he raced in the 200m fly, finishing 57th (2:06.55) ... Hall, given the Ingrid Daland Scholarship Award at the team banquet, earned 2005 Pac-10 All-Academic first team honors with a 3.57 GPA in biomedical engineering.
2004: Hall raced in three races at the 2004 Pac-10 Championships, reaching the consolation finals of the 200y fly (16th, 1:53.06). He was also 18th in the 400y IM (4:04.33) and 36th in the 200y IM (1:56.84).
HIGH SCHOOL: Hall prepped at Sam Barlow High in Portland, Ore. ... He was a sectional finalist in the 200y fly and the 400y IM last year and was the valedictorian of his school.
PERSONAL: He was born on May 27, 1985 ... He is a biomedical engineering major.
