2017-18 SEASON: Evelyn Rush begins her freshman season competing for the Women of Troy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Rush was a three-year captain of her high school’s volleyball team… Also a two-year captain of the soccer team… Named Under Armor High School All American setter… Earned All-Conference first team in both soccer and volleyball…Named National Merritt Scholar Semi Finalist.
PERSONAL: Evelyn Rush was born on July 11, 1998, in Anchorage, AK…Daughter of Clark and Marianne Rush who were both swimmers at the University of Washington…Has one sister, Emily, who is on the rowing team and ice hockey team at Williams College...Has two brothers, Christopher and Charlie…Majors in Jazz Voice and Environmental Studies...Lists smoothies and chocolate covered cherries from Harry & David as her favorite food...Enjoys performing with her band and songwriting as well as hiking through Alaska with her family and friends...Upon graduation, she hopes to get a research job somewhere cool... Hopes to be the next Beyoncé while solving climate change.
