NATIONAL TEAMS: Borkovec was a member of the U.S. Youth National Team in 2014... Also was a member of the U.S. Cadet Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Borkovec was named league Player of the Year as a senior at Laguna Beach High... Won the 2014 CIF Division I Championship... Named to the 2014 All-CIF Division I Southern Section First Team... Played her first three years of high school water polo at Fenwick High in Oak Park, Illinois... Earned all-state first team honors in Illinois... Also won 2011 and 2012 Illinois state championships... Also was a swimmer... Played club for Windy City Water Polo and SET.
PERSONAL: Borkovec is majoring in psychology... Mother is Colleen... Has two sisters, Kate and Allie, and one brother, Craig... Sister Kate swam at Iowa State and Arkansas... Lists winning the 2014 CIF Championship as her most thrilling sports moment... Enjoys spending time with friends at the beach or exploring Chicago in her free time... Has always wanted to skydive... Hopes to travel to Fiji, Spain, Africa and Ireland... Born March 3, 1996.
