• Scored 22 goals for USC as a junior
• Scored in 17 games with four multiple-goal outings
• Recorded a season-high hat trick in the NCAA Tournament vs. Fresno State
• Named an MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete
2022 SEASON:
• Scored eight goals in eight games as a sophomore
• Scored one goal at the NCAA Tournament
• Named an MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete
2021 SEASON:
• Scored 11 goals as a true freshman
• Scored in six games with three multiple-goal outings
• Matched her career high with three goals vs. Marist in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals
• Scored first career goal in the season opener vs. UC Irvine
NATIONAL TEAMS:
• Janov is a member of the Slovakian National Team
• Competed for Slovakia at the 2022 European Championships
HIGH SCHOOL: Janov was a two-time All-CIF Division I first-team honoree out of Foothill High... Also named league MVP as a junior... A 2020 All-Orange County selection... Was Foothill’s top scorer as a junior and senior and led in assists as a junior... Attended Redondo Union High as a freshman, winning the 2017 CIF Division III championship for the first time in school history... Named 2017 CIF DIII MVP... Played club for SoCal and Trojan Water Polo Club.. Competed with the USA team at the 2018 ODP Girls Futures International competition trip.
PERSONAL: Janov is majoring in communication... Parents are Peter Janov and Monika Gyokeresova... Her father is a 2001 USC grad who played water polo, winning a national championship in 1998, and served as an assistant coach at USC for seven years... Enjoys going to the beach and traveling in her free time... Lists her father as her biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to go on an African safari... Would like to travel to Greece, Bora Bora and Italy... Born May 11, 2002.
