THIS SEASON: Carolyne Stern enters her fifth season at USC. 

2023 SEASON:
• Earned All-America Honorable Mention as a senior
• Named to NCAA All-Tournament Second Team
• Collected 199 saves in 26 appearances with five double-digit save outings
• Averaged 8.8 saves and 7.7 goals-against per game
• Made a career-high 16 saves vs. Long Beach State
• Finished the season ranked No. 7 all-time among USC goalies with 392 career saves
Named an MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete

2022 SEASON: 
Earned All-America Third Team honors as a junior
Collected 135 saves in 22 games with two double-digit save outings
Averaged 7.4 saves and 8.2 goals-against per game
Made a career-high 13 saves in the NCAA final
Finished the season ranked No. 9 all-time among USC goalies with 193 career saves
Named MPSF Player of the Week on April 19 after making eight saves in a win over UCLA
Named an MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete

2021 SEASON: 
Collected 35 saves in six appearances as a sophomore
Averaged 7.4 saves and 6.7 goals-against per game
Set new career high with nine saves at Cal on March 2
Made five saves in the second half vs. Marist in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinal

2020 SEASON: 
Recorded 23 saves as a true freshman as USC was 12-1 overall when competition was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic
Capped up for six periods of work in her three appearances, allowing just six goals
Set career high with eight saves in two periods of play in her USC debut vs. Concordia on Jan. 25
Earned ACWPC All-Academic honors

NATIONAL TEAMS: 
Stern was a member of the United States Youth National Team
Named MVP of and won gold at the 2017 UANA Youth Pan American Games

HIGH SCHOOL: Stern was a two-time league MVP out of La Cañada High... Named to 2018 All-CIF Southern Section Division II first team and to the 2016 CIF Division V first team… Played club for the Rose Bowl. 

PERSONAL: Stern is pursuing a master's degree in communication management, having completed her undergraduate degree in communication… Parents are Jenny and Bill... Enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her French bulldog named Abby in her free time… Names her grandpa, Peter Claridge, as her biggest sports hero… Would like to travel to Bora Bora and England… Hopes to play professional water polo in Greece after graduation... Born on Jan. 22, 2001.
