2019-20 SEASON: Carson Branstine begins her freshman season at USC.
Junior Tennis: Carson Branstine is not only one of the nation's top prospects, but she is also one of the best female junior tennis players worldwide. In 2017, the International Tennis Federation ranked Branstine the No. 4 junior player in the world.
Although she was born and raised in Irvine, Calif., Branstine competes internationally representing Canada, as her mother is from Toronto.
Branstine has many notable accomplishments including winning the 2017 Australian Open and 2017 French Open junior doubles titles. In addition to being the doubles champion in both of those Junior Grand Slam events, she was a quarterfinalist in singles at both the 2017 Junior Wimbledon and the 2016 Junior US Open.
While competing on the professional tennis circuit, Branstine was the 2018 $25K Pro Circuit Gatineau, Canada doubles champion, qualified for the 2017 and 2018 Rogers Cup, placed second in doubles at the 2017 Quebec Premier International Tournament and has collected 13 Women's Tennis Association (WTA) top 100 doubles wins. She also holds a UTR rating of 12.
