Ashley Ford enters her fourth season as director of operations for USC women’s basketball. She previously served as an assistant coach under Mark Trakh for the 2016-17 season at New Mexico State. Prior to that, she was an assistant at her alma mater, Nebraska, for the 2015-16 season. Ford was the starting point guard for the Huskers from 2005-07 after playing two seasons at Cloud County Community College in Kansas.
Ford’s coaching career began as a graduate assistant at Nebraska from 2008-10. She then spent five seasons (2010-15) as an assistant coach at San Diego, where she helped the Toreros post four straight 20-win seasons.
A native of Fort Rucker, Ala., Ford earned a degree in communication studies from Nebraska in 2008. In 2016, she completed her master's degree in education administration.
