Back in action after being sidelined by injury last year, Asiah Jones boasts incredible leaping ability and a long reach to bring athleticism to both ends of the court for the Trojans as a redshirt sophomore

Jones redshirted her sophomore season due to injury.
2016-17 FRESHMAN SEASON
Jones started seven games and appeared in 29 as a true freshman... Delivered eight blocks vs. Mississippi State on Dec. 18, marking the most blocks by a Trojan since Lisa Leslie hit eight in 1993 and the third most blocks ever tallied by a Trojan in a single game... Set other career highs with eight points vs. Grambling State on Dec. 16 and seven rebounds at UCLA (Jan. 22) and Missouri State (Nov. 22)... Also had four steals vs. Cal in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL
Asiah Jones was a three-time all-region and two-time all-state honoree out of Woodmont High in Piedmont, S.C.... Played in the North Carolina vs. South Carolina All-Star Game in 2016... Named MVP of the County All-Star Game in 2016... Averaged 19 points and 9 rebounds per game as a junior.... Tallied a career-high nine blocks in a single game... Played club for SC 76ers.
