Amelia Neidine Tuaniga was born on Dec. 21, 2001, in Long Beach, Calif.… parents are Eperu and Tinei Tuaniga… has three older brothers named Gustiano, Joshua, and Jake, and a younger brother named Jonah… brother Gus played outside hitter at Hawai’i (2009-10)… brother Josh is a professional volleyball player and a member of the U.S. Men’s National Team; and played setter at Long Beach State (2016-19) where he was a two-time NCAA champion (2018-19), a three-time AVCA All-American, and the 2018 National Player of the Year… parents Eperu and Tinei opened, owned, and operated Aiga Volleyball Club in Hemet, Calif.… mother Tinei and brother Gus serve as directors at Apex1 Volleyball Club in Seal Beach, Calif.… lists brother Gus as her biggest sports hero and USC All-American safety Troy Polamalu as her favorite Trojan… majoring in communication and working on degree progress towards a master of science in digital media management.
