THIS SEASON: Spencer Averitt enters his third season at USC.
2024 SEASON:
• Scored four goals in his sophomore season
• Set and matched his career high with two goals scored vs. Cal State Fullerton and against Whittier
• Academic All-Big Ten and ACWPC All-Academic honoree
• Big Ten Distinguished Scholar
2023 SEASON:
• Scored two goals as a true freshman
• First goal as a Trojan came vs. Biola on Sept. 3
• ACWPC All-Academic honoree
NATIONAL TEAMS:
• Has been a member of the U.S. Youth and Cadet national teams
• Won gold with the U.S. Youth Team at the 2022 Carnivalé Cup in Budapest, Hungary
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2023 graduate of Santa Margarita Catholic High... Led team in scoring as a senior (90 goals) and junior (67) goals... Also was the team leader in assists, steals, drawn exclusions and field blocks in those seasons... Earned all-CIF honors as a senior... A two-time CA/HI All-American... Also earned all-league and all-county honors in 2021 and 2022... Helped Santa Margarita win league titles in 2020 and 2021... Named CIF Southern Section Male Scholar Athlete of the Year... A two-time NISCA All-American... Scored six goals in a CIF-SS D1 playoff win over San Clemente... Played club for Orange County, Aetos and SET... Graduated cum laude... An honor student.
PERSONAL: Averitt is majoring in business... Parents are Marc and Samarah... Has one sibling: Peyton... Father, Marc, is a 1994 USC graduate... Enjoys skiing, wakeboarding, body surfing and spending time with friends and family in his free time... Has always wanted to skydive... Hopes to travel to Greece, Bali and Japan...
