THIS SEASON: Luka Karaman enters his third season of competition at USC.
2018: Karaman scored 12 goals as a redshirt sophomore... Scored in nine games with two multiple-goal outings... Set career high with a hat trick vs. La Verne on Sept. 9... A member of the NCAA Championship roster.
2017: Karaman scored one goal as a redshirt freshman... First career goal as a Trojan came vs. San José State on Sept. 22.
2016: Karaman redshirted his first season at USC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Karaman earned first team all-league honors as a senior out of Marina High in Huntington Beach, Calif.... Also earned third team all-county honors as a senior... In senior season, scored 65 goals and had 68 assists and 35 steals... Named to 2015 South Orange County All-Star Team... Prior to arriving at Marina High, lived in Croatia, competing at the club level with VK Jug in Dubrovnik and for VK Trstenik... In the summers, competed in the USA with OC Water Polo Club.
PERSONAL: Karaman is majoring in international relations... Parents are Tony and Suzana... Has one brother, Marko, and one sister, Dora... His father Tony played professional water polo for VK Jug Dubrovnik... Enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with friends in his free time...
